Due to the threat of severe weather tonight and tomorrow, Macon County High School is rescheduling Saturday’s ACT test for next Saturday, December 18. Students will receive an email from ACT with further information.
Due to potential bad weather Friday night/early Saturday morning, students taking the December 11 ACT need to check their emails and the Macon County Schools App for testing updates on Saturday morning before testing.
FAFSA Day at Red Boiling Springs High School

If you are a senior and plan to attend college or tech school next year, you must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). A representative from TSAC will be at school that day to help seniors and/or parents complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA. Please take advantage of this opportunity to get the FAFSA completed before the February deadline and also remain eligible for TN Promise. The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Broadband Benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households. This credit is honored by our local internet providers. NCTC has spoken to the schools that they will honor this program with all of the correct applications in place.

Tonight's (11/2/2021) RBS Jr. High boys and girls basketball game has had to be moved and will be played at Celina's K-8 school due to gym maintenance at RBS. Game time tonight at Celina is 6 PM. Please share this post!
6-8th grade(s) boys and girls basketball game Tuesday 11/2/2021 has been changed. RBS girls and boys basketball games will be played at Clay County Tuesday 11/1/2021 at 6PM due to updates in RBS gymnasium.

There will be NO SCHOOL for Macon County students on Monday, September 27, 2021. This is a scheduled Professional Development Day for Macon County Teachers.
All students must have a permission form signed by a parent and turned back in Ms. Naramore by Wednesday 22nd to participate in the RBS homecoming parade. You can pick up a paper copy of the permission form in Ms. Naramore's room #8. Cost of entering something into the parade is $10.00 per entry.

provide college application instructional videos. These videos, created by Tennessee colleges, walk students
step-by-step through each college’s application process. The Video link below will open the college’s

celebrate Tennessee College Application and Exploration Month, many institutions are offering application fee
waivers during September.

Parents and guardians Chromebook agreements forms were sent home yesterday 8/31/2021 with all students grades 6-12th to get signed. These forms must have the students and parents signature on them only no dates are need to be filled out. This is just in case your child needs a Chromebook device if they were quarantine etc... we could already have a form on file. Please sign this form and return it with your child to school by Monday September 6th.
